About Me
I started playing basketball when I was 7 years old. My passion for the sport started right away and I knew I wanted to become the best all-around player and teammate that I could.
My career began with Coach Dave Taylor. He owns, operates, and coaches DTX Basketball. I have been playing for Coach Taylor for 6 years. Through the years, Coach has taught me many lessons about life on and off the court. I have developed a superior Basketball IQ and fundamental skills throughout these years, but my real goal is to get to play in college level basketball.
My coaches encourage me to be a leader on and off the court. I love coaching the younger players and work with them to improve their skills and develop their fundamentals.
During the 2019-20 season, I enrolled at Greens Farms Academy as an 8th grader. I was the starting point guard on the High School Varsity Basketball team. We had an excellent season as proven by our FAA championship run and the semi-finals of the New England Tournament.
I ended up making the New England Class C All-Star team. That season I have learned a lot playing with older girls.
The next high school season was obviously hectic because of the pandemic. We didn't start our high school season until late January, and at our games the score would reset at halftime. After a strong first 5 games, I tore my ACL which was a setback. During that summer I put in work during the off-season to make sure that my game would be strong after coming back. With lots of physical therapy, I was cleared to play my sophomore season at Greens Farms Academy.
In my sophomore year (2021--22), I started every game at the guard position. Our overall record was 16-10, and I averaged 14.5 ppg, 6.1 rpg, and 3.0 apg. It was difficult transitioning to game after the injury, but I began to feel more comfortable throughout the season.
I ended the season becoming a Class B All-Star, 2nd team All-New England, and 2nd team All-FAA.
My junior year I decided to transfer back to public schools. I now attend Trumbull High School for the 2022-23 season. Unfortunately I didn't play the first half of the season due to another ACL injury, but I was able to make it back for the last 10 regular games of the season and playoffs. Within these couple games I was selected as all-league honorable mention.
Throughout the summer of 2023, I played for DTX and we went to various live period events. I also attended Phenom (a camp in California) where I played against top talent around the world. At the end of the camp I was named an 11th-12th grade All-Star and was also the MVP.
During my senior year at Trumbull High School, I was named FCIAC Player of the Year as well as All-FCIAC First Team. I was also selected to play in the state senior all-star game, and was selected for Class LL All-State. I became a 1000 point scorer (total 1226) and was chosen for All-Academic All-State.
Next year, I will be attending Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio for my post-graduate year.
